PESHWAR - Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has said that it is high time to realize the dream of change and asked the people not to bribe any govt official for their petty works nor go for ‘Sifrish’ for the purpose as, he said, all govt affairs are being made transparent.
He vowed that PTI has no personal or political agenda but it only wanted change in the exploitation-based system to enable the poor get their rights as well as supremacy of law, merit and justice ensured at every level. He asserted that considerable achievements have been made while the revolution of change and prosperity of the masses was being brought about with active support of the people.
He was addressing a public meeting of the people of Lakki Marwat at the residence of PML (N) leader late Anwar Kamal Khan in Hayatabad Peshawar.
On this occasion, Mansoor Kamal Khan, son of Anwar Kamal Khan, announced to join PTI along with his thousands of supporters. He appreciated the concrete steps of provincial govt for elimination of corruption and change of system in the province as well as reposed full confidence in central and provincial leadership of PTI and reiterated his pledge for rendering every sacrifice for the party cause.
The function was also attended by Provincial Minister for Information Shah Farman Khan, CM Advisor ZiaUllah Afridi, Chairman DDAC Peshawar Ishtiaq Urmar, Provincial President PTI Azam Khan Swati, Provincial general secretary Khalid Masood, Provincial general secretary Insaf Youth Wing Engr. Nasir Iqbal, MNA from Lakki Marwat Col(r) AmirUllah Marwat, MPAs Zarin Zia, Shah Mohammad Khan, head of Marwat Qomi Jirga Aslam Khan Essak Khel, former district Naib Nazi Lakki ArifUllah Khan Menakhel and other elite of the area.
While accepting the invitation for Lakki Marwat visit extended by Mansoor Kamal Khan and others, the CM said that Marwats had a big favour to PTI by voting our MNA Col(r) AmirUllah Marwat despite the fact that our party organization was not streamlined there.
He asked Mansoor that he must feel proud for deciding to join PTI as the Chief Minister said that next time would be of PTI to rule all over the country and to uproot all sorts of cruelties and injustices made to the poor while people would be given justice and all their basic rights would be ensured accordingly.
Pervez Khattak deplored that the country was undergoing a worsen period of its history. “There is unrest and uncertainty everywhere while it can be rectified when our rulers come out of all political expediencies and make bold, correct decisions instead of compromising on even the state security matters”, he added.
He further said that they were also waiting for such decisions of our central rulers that could reflect the desires and expectations of the people so that the nation could heave a sigh of relief. He regretted that the world was marching ahead on road to progress but Pakistan was lagging behind for certain reasons.
The Chief Minister said that he during his 30 years career in politics, made every decision as per the call of his conscience and got its nice fruits accordingly.
