Rawalpindi-The 169th Corps Commanders Conference was held at the General Headquarters (GHQ) today. Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif chaired the meeting.  The conference was part of the routine monthly meetings.

On the first day of the conference, the forum dwelt at length on various professional matters. The participants also undertook a comprehensive review of prevalent internal and external security situation of the country.

Second day of the conference was devoted to promotion board from Brigadier to the rank of Major General.
