QUETTA - A complete shutter-down strike was observed in Khuzdar and Mastung districts of Balochistan against the targeted killing of political workers on Friday.
Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) had given the strike call to protest the brutal murder of its leaders Abdul Waheed and Suleman Baloch who were gunned down by armed men in Khuzdar few days back. All markets, shopping centres and business activities remained closed for the day in Khuzdar and Mastung as the business community responded positively to the strike call.
Talking to reporters, BNP-M Secretary Information BNP Agha Hassan Advocate condemned the targeted killing of BNP leaders, saying more than 35 party workers and leaders had been targeted in different parts of Balochistan, particularly in Khuzdar, so far.
