MIRANSHAH/WANA- All the main routes in North Waziristan were closed down by the security officials, whereas the curfew imposed a day ago
continued on Saturday for the second day.
According to the security sources, following the Iimposition of curfew on Friday, all the routes leading to NWA have also been blocked. The areas under curfew include Bannu-Miranshah road, Razmik road, Gulam Khan road, Data Khel and Tal Mir Ali road.
Meanwhile, all intermediate exams were postponed after the announcement of the curfew, whereas many people traveling from the main routes of North Waziristan at the time of the announcement of the curfew were stuck.
On the other hand, a low intensity blast occurred outside a house located in South Waziristan's Tehsil Wana area, due to which one person, identified as Baitullah was reportedly injured. He was immediately shifted to the nearest hospital. The blast damaged one portion of the house and a car parked outside the house. The damages were not huge, whereas after the blast the security officials cordoned off the area and started a search operation.
