TOBA TEK SINGH - A girl was gang-raped by the same accused here in Chak 54/2GB Tukra the other day.Muhammad Ramzan, father of the girl informed police that his daughter Samina Bibi had gone to sugarcane fields outside the village to answer the call of nature where accused Ghulam Murtaza and his accomplice overpowered her on gunpoint and gang raped. It is to be noted that the victim girl has already got registered a gang-rape case at Kamalia Saddr Police Station against the same accused and they are on bail from a court.Karachi blast victim laid to rest: Pakistan Rangers Lance Naik Khalid Mehmood Tabassum who was killed in a suicide blast in Karachi on Thursday was laid to rest in his native village Chak-477/JB Allowal on Friday.His funeral was attended by thousands of people including political leaders, officers of Rangers and officials of the district administration. He was the son of a farmer Ch Muhammad Ashraf and had gone to join his duty a month ago after leave. He left behind a widow, a son and two daughters.
