Attackers identified, to be arrested soon: Malik

Interior minister Rehman Malik Wednesday said that the terrorists who attacked Malala Yusufzai have been identified and would soon be arrested.
Talking to media after visiting Malala in military hospital here, the minister said that the agencies have had information about the entry of terrorists in Swat valley.
”We know how many days ago attackers came in Swat,” he said and added  those who have been supporting the Taliban should now stop doing so.
He vowed to bring the culprits involved in the attack to justice added that there are clear indications that attackers came across the border of Afghanistan.
Malik told the media that condition of Malala is stable but he requested the nation to pray for her health.
He said that the decision to send 14 year old victim abroad for treatment had been postponed and according to doctors her condition was out of danger.
“ The medical board decided not to send Malala abroad for treatment as her condition did not allow traveling however best Pakistani doctors are available to look after her” Malik added.
He said American and British doctors are stand by to fly for Pakistan if needed added that he is fully confident on Pakistani doctors who are raking good care of her.
“Who are they (Taliban) working for, we all practice Islam and Islam doesn’t; allow such acts”
The minister said that the military had sent all its neurosurgeons to CMH Peshawar for Malala and civilian doctors were also cooperating.Malik said that IG police had offered security to Malala but her father refused to take security. He said Malala’s father was not aware of her daughter’s importance and stature.
