Islamabad- Federal Minister for Information Pervez Rasheed said all institutions are working under the domain of the constitution. Talking to journalists in Islamabad today he dismissed reports of differences between the government and the armed forces.

He said these rumors are being spread by those who thrived under dictatorial rules. He said these elements will not succeed in their designs. Pakistan Army has always given sacrifices for the defense of the homeland and the nation is proud of these sacrifices, he added.

To a question, the Information Minister said the economy has strengthened due to positive policies of the government. He said stock markets are witnessing an upward trend and the value of rupee has also strengthened against the dollar. He said the government will solve the energy crisis. Regarding Musharraf’s trial, the Information Minister said the case is before the court and no one will deny the court's verdict. Earlier, the Information Minister inaugurated the Annual Folk Festival at Lok Virsa.
