LAHORE- Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the government was planning to target media for telling the truth.

Tahir-ul-Qadri, while speaking at a press conference in Lahore, said that the journalists are being fired for writing the truth.

“The government is pressurizing journalists, media groups and its owners,” Qadri said.

PAT Chairman said that his revolution march towards Islamabad will be peaceful. He added that not a single bullet was fired from his side.

Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri further said that the party had decided 14th August as the day of revolution march at the end of May this year. He added that he had informed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan about the date of his march as well.

“We respect PTI’s Azadi March,” Qadri added.
