Biogas, solar panels for farmers pledged


HAVELI LAKHA - MNA Khurram Jehangir Wattoo has said that the PPP-led government has chalked out a plan to provide solar panels and biogas units to the small farmers to ensure their development and prosperity.
He was addressing the party workers meetings at suburban Chak Sohail Wattoo and Haveli Lakha here the other day.
He said that provision of solar panels to the poor families would be made through transparent balloting, and similar method would also be adopted for biogas units to be distributed among the small farmers. He directed that methodology of distribution of solar panels and biogas units should be evolved so that the programme could be implemented without any delay.
He said that the PPP-led government was working on many projects for overcome the electricity crisis and hoped in next tenure people would saw a big change in country. Earlier, he inaugurated the new electrify project for the villagers of Chak Sohail Haveli Lakha.
People deprived of healthcare: The Rural Health Centre Khanqa Sharif has failed to provide medical facilities to the local people the last three months due to vacant post of senior medical officer. The local people are facing severe difficulties. People of the area demanded that the DCO and the EDO (Health) should appoint senior medical officer at the centre.
