LJ outlaw rounded up

KARACHI - The Crime Investigation Departments (CID) Anti-Extremism Cell (AEC) claimed to have arrested an alleged outlaw of the defunct Lashker-e-Jahngvi during a raid here in the Mominabad Police precincts on Saturday. CID SSP Chaudhry Aslam Khan said that the accused was identified as Sajid Mehmood had been involved in various criminal activities including in an attack on Altaf Hussain Imambargah, at Khadda Market Baghdadi in 2008. One man namely Kausar Abbas was killed and eight others were injured in the incident, he added. The CID SSP said that further investigation would unearth various other criminal and sectarian activities. He said that another accomplice of the accused namely Shehzad Baloch managed to flee when the police reached at their hideout to arrest them SSP Khan said that the police also recovered a 32 bore revolver and two bullets from his possession.
