PESHAWAR - Political Tehsildar of Khyber Agency escaped a remote control blast when his convoy was passing through Juma Khan Kalay area on Nasir Bagh road Peshawar on Tuesday.
Sources said that militants had planted a remote-control device below the debris in Juma Khan village, which exploded with a big bang.
The blast did not cause any casualty as the convoy of political Tehsildar of Mulagor Tehsil had passed few minutes before from the site. Soon after the incident police force rushed to the site and cordoned off the area.
They blocked Nasir Bagh Road for traffic and collected the evidences from the site.
The police said that a vehicle has been slightly damaged as a result of the blast and around one kilogram explosive material has been used in the remote control blast.
