No event to mark Population Day

NANKANA SAHIB - Federal and provincial governments must not neglect the impact of the increasing population in the country, said a survey conducted here in connection with World Population Day on Monday. According to the survey, the people of the district expressed their resentment over the governments failure in providing relief to the masses, saying: The rulers have failed to provide basic amenities to the public. They said the govt must advocates properly the merits and demerits of increasing population in the country and available social strength should be utilised and mobilised for the betterment of country. Surprisingly, no especial seminar or any other notable activity was observed by the government throughout the district to mark the day.
