Karachi- Police arrested at least 17 afghan national from a slum area in the outskirts of Karachi.
Officials said that the law enforcers conducted raids in a slum area, mostly inhabited by Afghan nationals, on the Super Highway and arrested 17 suspects during the operation.
The suspects were shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation. Sources said the search operation was part of fresh security measures being taken after the militant attacks on Karachi airport, with heightened security at city airport and sensitive government installations.
