An earthquake of mild intensity jolted different upper parts of the country including the federal capital on Monday.
According to geological department of Pak-Met, tremors measuring 5.4 on Richter scale were felt in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Lower Dir, Malakand Division, Chitral Hazara Division, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
People rushed out of their homes in panic but no causality or property loss was reported due to earthquake.
The Met office said that epicentre of the earthquake was in North Western Kashmir.
