Polio team incharge threatened in Attock

ATTOCK - Some unknown persons have threatened an in-charge of a polio team of dire consequences if polio campaign is kept continued.
According to details, Syed Tauseef Haider, a polio team in-charge, informed EDO (Health) and Assistant Commissioner Hassanabdal on Tuesday that he was on his way in the jurisdiction of Katarian village to check polio teams when all of a sudden two unknown armed persons stopped him at gun point and threatened him of dire consequences if polio campaign is kept continued.
This incident has spread a wave of insecurity among polio workers of the Attock district. Polio teams have demanded of the high-ups to ensure security for them otherwise they would be unable to complete polio campaign. Police registered the case and started investigations.
Meanwhile, two booksellers of the city were arrested by FIA for over-charging. As per detail, FIA crime circle on Tuesday evening arrested two booksellers namely Muhammad Kamran and Muhammad Ramzan for allegedly selling Oxford textbooks at higher rates.
