Red alert issued in 8 districts of Sindh

KARACHI- The Sindh government today declared red alert in eight districts of the province, fearing a drought-like situation to surface there.
According to media reports, Rehabilitation secretary Roshan Ali Sheikh said that the government had mobilized all officials to handle any unprecedented situation. The eight districts where red alert was issued include Sanghar, Khairpur, Thatta, Nawabshah, Sajawal, Sukkur and Umerkot.
