World after 9/11 attacks

The event known as 9/11 changed the course of human history. It left serious repercussions on the whole world. It kick started the so-called war on terror which destroyed countries like Afghanistan and Iraq. Pakistan’s cooperation with the US after 9/11 invited serious threats against the country. More than a decade has passed to this event but there are still ambiguities about it that either it was a tragedy or a pre-planned incident? What were the forces that carried it out and what were their goals? A lot has been written about this event. There is a lot of material available on the internet and in the libraries which contradicts the official version of 9/11. At the same time those who call it a purely a terrorist activity also have abundance of references to prove their point of view.
Dr Mujahid Kamran, the Vice Chancellor of the Punjab University, wrote an extensive book about 9/11 and tried to reveal the reality of this heinous act. According to the writer 9/11 was a pre-planned event which was the brain child of CIA and to fulfill the plan Americans used al Qaeda. He accuses the CIA and NATO of being involved in terrorist activities and says that NATO airplanes had flown the families of al-Qaeda leaders and some members of the bin Laden family to Central Asia to destabilise the region. For proof he says that there is significant reduction in suicide bombing attacks when NATO containers were stopped. It showed that the NATO was sponsoring various terrorist attacks in Pakistan.
He also tries to explore the hidden facts of Iraq War and writes that America’s Centre for Public Integrity had revealed that the US rulers, including Bush, Condoleezza Rice, Dick Cheney and others made up around 1,000 lies just to impose a war on Iraq. To prove all these and his point of view about 9/11, he quotes extensively and gives references of almost 350 web links and declassified documents. The writer says that even the FBI had also accepted that they had no substantial proof to establish that Osama bin Laden was involved in the 9/11 attack.
The book presents analysis of 9/11 and supports only one point of view which contradicts the official version of the US government. Going through this book, a neutral reader sometimes feels that the author is losing its objectivity and impartiality about the widely discussed topic of war on terror. The writer seems propagating only one point of view which goes against the US Government because the whole book supports the view that Americans were responsible for 9/11 tragedy. The book has great attraction for those readers who see Americans at the backend of every evil or see the involvement of some foreign elements.
The book gives an analysis of global politics but unfortunately it has failed to give a full length picture of the issue. Dr Kamran propagated the one side of the issue whereas a lot of material is also available which supports the other side of this issue as I mentioned earlier that both groups have abundance of reference to prove their point of view. However, Dr Kamran did an attempt to counter the official version of 9/11 and for that he quoted the references and skillfully voiced his disagreement with the official explanation of 9/11.
