ISLAMABAD (INP): Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has approved the promotion of three Pakistan Navy Officers to the rank of rear admiral, on the recommendations for promotion by the Flag Officers Promotion Board, which is headed by the Pakistan Navy chief. The promoted officers are Cdr (ops) Farrokh Ahmad, SI(M) and Cdr(ops) Jamil Akhtar, SI(M) in the Operational Branch, and Cdr (E) Syed Imdad Imam Jafri, SI(M) in the Technical Branch.
