LAKKI MARWAT: The district police administration has finalised a foolproof security plan and completed all sorts of arrangements to provide complete security to Eid congregations in different parts of the district.
"At a high level meeting held under the chair of acting district police officer Bashar Khan the local officials of police department discussed various aspects of the security plan and took several important decisions," said an official on Friday.
He said that policemen would be deployed at Eidgah and mosques where Eid congregations would be held. He told that law enforcers had been directed to keep a strict vigilance and take result-oriented actions against hardened criminals, kidnappers, and miscreants and anti social elements.
"The station housed officers have been directed to increase patrolling in their respective areas and enhance security at important public places," he maintained. He told that clear instructions were issued to the subordinate police officials to tighten at the border check posts to stop possible infiltration of miscreants from tribal areas to the settled parts of the district.
"Under the plan one platoon each of police, Frontier Reserve Police and Frontier Constabulary will be kept on standby position besides Rescue 15 and Quick Response Force will be mobilized in case any mishap occurred," official added. He said that SDPOs and SHOs had also been directed to mobilize Mohallah and village committees to main law and order and ensure durable peace during Eidul Azha.–Staff Reporter
