PPP names candidates for NA, BP seats

QUETTA – The Pakistan People’s Party has announced its candidates on 11 National and 50 Balochistan Assembly seats for the upcoming general elections.
Addressing a news conference here Friday, PPP Balochistan president Mir Sadiq Umrani announced names of the candidates. Other party leaders including Senator Rozi Khan Kakar, Younas Mullazai and Jan Ali Changazai were also present on the occasion.  Umrani said the PPP is the party of jiyalas who have always rendered scarifies for the supremacy of democracy. He said the party is contesting the next elections on the ground of its performance and hoped the masses would not disappoint it.
The National Assembly candidates who have been given party tickets are former City Nazim Maqbool Lehri for NA-259 Quetta City, former federal minister Sardar Umer Gorgaij NA-260 Quetta Chagai, Abdul Wahab Barakzai NA-261 Pishin Ziarat, Nazar Muhammad Kakar NA-262 Qila Abdullah, Mir Changez Khan Jamali NA-266 Naseerabad and former federal minister Ayatullah Durrani NA-268 Kalat-Mastung.
The party tickets for provincial seats have been awarded to Muhammad Hashim for PB-1 Quetta, Jan Ali Changezai PB-2 Quetta, former provincial minister Muhammad Younas Mullazai PB-4 Quetta, Arif Jan Muhammad Hassani PB 39-Chagai, Chagai Junaid Badini PB-40, Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani PB-Naseerabad, Raza Muhammad Mengal PB-35 Khuzdar, Awaran Attaullah Baloch PB-41 and Lasbela Sharif Plari PB-45.
