At least two persons were killed and 12 others including an SHO and two cops sustained injuries in a bomb blast near police mobile van here in Dera Murad Jamali on Monday.
According to DPO Abdul Hai Baloch, unidentified miscreants had planted a bomb in a motorcycle and parked it near Bakra Mandi, at National Highway, Dera Murad Jamali.
The miscreants detonated the remote controlled device as soon as police mobile on routine patrol reached the scene.
As a result of blast two persons were killed on the spot while 12 others including Station House Officer (SHO) and two cops were injured.
The injured were rushed to hospital where according to hospital sources condition of SHO and three other injured people was serious.
The police cordoned off the area after the blast and launched search operation but no arrest has been made.
The police have registered a case against unknown miscreants and started investigation.
