OKARA - A woman was raped while a local was injured in different incidents here in the city the other day.
Two locals of Town Akbar abducted a woman and raped her at the veterinary hospital. According to source, Khursheed Bibi, wife of Adeel was abducted by a local identified as Khalid along with his unidentified accomplice and assaulted her at a local veterinary hospital. The police registered a case.
Meanwhile, a local namely Khalid Mehmood, a resident of Mohalla Kalasen was critically injured when some men identified as Munir Ahmad, Nazir Ahmad and Ameer Hussain open fired on him. A family disputed is said to be the motive behind the incident. The police registered a case.     –Reporter
