HYDERABAD : Three blasts exploded one after another in the early hours of Friday in Hyderabad, but no casualties were reported. According to reports, a Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) was targeted in the first blast, whereas the subsequent explosions took place on a railway track. The first blast took place at 5 am in the morning. The bomb was launched on the SSP's office, creating a six-foot wide hole in the wall. Eyewitnesses said the blast was so severe that it damaged the windows of nearby houses in the area. Moreover, the ceiling of a mosque also collapsed in the vicinity. A heavy contingent of police personnel reached the SSP's office and simultaneously two explosions occurred on a railway track in Hyderabad's Hussainabad district. Police and Rangers cordoned off the affected areas and started search operation. Due to the explosion, train traffic going from Karachi to Peshawar was suspended for some time and after clearance and repair of the track, traffic was restored.
