4 die in armed clash over water dispute

NASEERABAD - At least four people were killed and another injured in armed clash between two groups here on Saturday.
Police said two groups of Umerani and Lehri Tribes hailing from village Pariya Khan of tehsil Tambo in district Naseerabad clashed over irrigation water share dispute.
In cross firing three people were killed on the spot while two sustained wounds.
The injured people were shifted to Civil Hospital Dera Murad Jamali where another injured succumbed to his wounds raising death toll to four.
Tension and uncertainty gripped the area as gun shots were continuously being heard and people were restricted to homes. Heavy contingent of police reached the area and brought the situation under control. However, no arrest could be made.
