Rawalpindi- Major General Bilal Akbar has been appointed as Director General Rangers Sindh.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Bilal would assume charge of DG Rangers in August.
Currently, Major General Rizwan Akhtar is serving as DG Rangers Sindh. According to ISPR, Major General Bilal Akbar will work with out-going DG Rangers Sindh Maj Gen Rizwan Akhtar for a month to have a better understanding of the law and order situation in Sindh in general and Karachi in particular where Rangers have a leading role to restore peace in the violence hit city.
