Four female members of a fraudsters’ gang were caught red handed while their six accomplices managed to escape.
For the last couple of months in Khan Bela, the gang consisting of male and female members was active. It deceived women into taking off their jewellery and then flew away with the jewellery. The group was also involved in stealing items from shops by tricking the shopkeepers.
On Tuesday, the group stole 17 suits from a cloth market on which shopkeeper got suspicious and checked them and recovered the 17 suits from their possession.
Meanwhile, four male and two female members of the group succeed to flew away from the scene while four females namely Shameem, Shareefan, Surayya and Zubaida were caught red handed.
These women gave the false names and address of their husbands.
Meanwhile, a woman recognised these women as they had stolen her jewellery after tricking her into taking off her ornaments. The shopkeepers of Khan Bela Cloth Market filed a complaint with the police to take a strict action against the accused.
