Malala Yousafzai supports Government-Taliban peace talk

ISLAMABAD- Malala Yousafzai, who was once attacked by Taliban on November 9, 2012, has voted in favor of peace talk with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

She said, “You cannot end a war through war nor peace is possible through bloodshed.”

Malala suggested an ideal way for Taliban to fulfill their motive i.e. Islamic system in Pakistan.

She said, “If Taliban want to implement the Islamic system then they should lay down their weapons, adopt the path of democracy, ask forgiveness from the families of those who became a victim of terrorism and take part in the elections.”

She urged them to follow the current rules of Pakistan in order to accomplish their goals.

“If the Taliban get public support through votes then they have the right to rule the country,” said Malala.
