MUZAFARGARH- A ruthless person slit lips of a woman over matrimonial dispute today.
Police said that suspect Aslam hailing from Rohailanwali of Muzaffargarh district, was suspicious that Feroza Bibi had a role in divorce of his daughter. The culprit along with his accomplice caught hold of the woman and slit her lips with a sharp-edged knife. The victim woman was shifted to a local hospital where she was referred to Nishtar Hospital Multan for treatment. The police arrested the key suspect Aslam and after registering a case against him and his co-accused started an investigation into the incident.
