BAJAUR AGENCY - Bajaur Development Network, a  non-governmental organisation(NGO), on Thursday showed its concern over stoppage of funds by the international donors agencies for carrying out development work in the area and  demanded immediate provision of funds for implementing projects in the agency.
The concerns were shown during a meeting of the Bajaur Development Network.
The participants of meeting mentioned that round 20 local bodies were currently working in the agency for the last several years but so for none of them got funds from any donor's agencies. They said all these organisations had been registered with the Fata Secretariat, Ministry of States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) and Social Welfare Department and all of them are meeting basic criteria and standards that had been set by the international donors agencies for providing funds.
