2 Lahore attack victims laid to rest

MARDAN – The funeral prayers of two constables martyred in Lahore attack the other day were offered in their respective villages in Mardan district on Friday.
Sources said that funeral prayers of two constables named Asif Khan, son of Jahangir Khan, resident of Ismailzai Garhi Kapura, and Sardar Hussain, son of Alamzeb, resident of Katakhat Rustam, who were martyred in firing incident in Lahore (Punjab) were offered in their villages. The soldiers were buried with honour and a large number of people attended their funeral prayers.
Sources said that the martyred constables were trainees at the Punjab Jail Academy. They said that they were performing duty at Timargara jail and recently doing training at Punjab Jail Academy.
Meanwhile, a  youth allegedly killed his two sisters over a petty issue in the limits of Lundkhwar Police Station in tehsil Takhatbhai, police sources said Friday. Alam Khan, son of Gul Amin, resident of Samarbagh Dir, now Tanga Killay Lundkhwar, reported to police that his son Gul Nawab had an exchange of hot words with her sisters named Salma, 18, and Kulsoom, 17, over a domestic issue.
Later, he opened fire and killed them. He fled from the scene.
The area police registered a case against the accused and started investigations on the complaint of his father.
