Punjab Government sets up IDPs Centre in Bannu

Bannu- Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated assistance program for IDPs of North Waziristan in Bannu today.

A Centre to help IDPs has also been set up by the Punjab Government there. The Punjab Government will also provide financial assistance to the IDPs. Earlier, Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif arrived in Bannu to visit the internally displaced persons of North Waziristan.
Governor Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Mehtab Abbai, Punjab Law Minister Rana Mashood, and Pir Sabir Shah were also accompanying the Chief Minister. Soon after his arrival in the city, Shahbaz Sharif was briefed about the activities in IDP camps and facilities being provided to them. He is also meeting the displaced people to ascertain their problems.
