RAWALPINDI - A small girl was shot dead accidentally by her cousin here on Friday.
The deceased girl was identified as Amna daughter of Muhammad Raffique. According to police, Muhammad Raffique lodged a complaint that his cousin Haider was cleaning barrel of his pistol while his daughter was sitting beside him. He said that the bullet was fired by Haider mistakenly which hit his small daughter who died on the spot. Police filed a case and started investigation.
Meanwhile, the streets and roads of Sadiqabad have become dangerous for citizens in general and for women in particular. This fact is evident from an incident in which two culprits riding on motorcycle caught a woman namely Samina Shaheen and tried to kidnap her. However, the intruders fled when the lady made hue and cry.
Later, she told police that she has been receiving threatening phone calls on her cell and then the callers riding on a bike (registration number 1993) tried to kidnap her. Police filed a case and started investigation.
