PTU accuses DDEO, staff of corruption

KHANEWAL -The Punjab Teacher Union has demanded stern action against the deputy district education officer and other staff over the alleged corruption and misbehaviour with teachers and other visitors.
Punjab Teacher Union District President Muhammad Arif Sahu remonstrated with District Coordination Officer Muhammad Usman Moazzam and EDU Education Rao Muhammad Shahid that the office had been converted into the house of corruption.
He alleged that the staff had established a gang at the office for looting the teachers and their relatives who visit it for the redressal of their issues regarding transfer, leave and salaries. He added that the DDEO and clerk Abdul Rehman were involved in corruption. He demanded an inquiry and disciplinary action in this regard.
