LONDON :  The Pakistan High Commission in London has sought the opinion of Pakistan Foreign Office in connection with the application of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain for issuance of national ID card and renewal of green passport.
A media report quoted sources as saying, the decision on issuing the NIC and passport will be made after getting response from the Foreign Office. The close aides of Altaf Hussain have been in contact with the Pakistan High Commission, sources added. Sources further disclosed that a formal request had been received from Altaf Hussain for issuance of NIC and passport.
