Islamabad- Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said the people of Lahore have rejected the PTI's long march showing political wisdom. In an interview, he said majority of people wants stability in the country and supports the economic and development agenda of the government. The Minister said that Imran Khan has no justification, either constitutional or democratic, to demand resignation of an elected Prime Minister. He said the Prime Minister is answerable only to the parliament and his own party. Ahsan Iqbal said the government believes in continuity of democratic system and no one will be allowed untoward situation in the country. He added that a parliamentary committee has already been constituted to bring about electoral reforms. The Minister said Imran Khan should concentrate on improving performance of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government instead of agitation.
