N believes Opp alliance to take shape soon

LAHORE - The PML-N believes that its efforts to set up a grand alliance of opposition parties will soon bear fruit.
Removal of the government and mounting pressure to force fresh elections will be the major issues on the agenda of the yet-to-be-formed opposition conglomerate.
A country-wide movement and en masse resignations are the major tools that can be used to dislodge the government. However, success of either option is difficult unless the PML-Q joins hands. As for the option of en bloc resignations, many leaders believe that it would not be effective unless at least 150 legislators quit their seats.  For the time being, the Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf is not willing to join hands with the opposition parties. It insists that to give the government a decisive push, the PML-N should take the initiative and resign from the assemblies.
Ultimately, political sources believe, the PTI will become part of the grand opposition alliance.
