PML-N flexes muscles to fight legal battle

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Tuesday decided to file three petitions in Supreme Court of Pakistan, Election Commission of Pakistan and High Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) respectively, sources informed TheNation. Sources said this was decided in a meeting held in Punjab House that was chaired by Nawaz Sharif. Most of the MNAs and MPAs participated in the meeting. In the petition to be filed in SC of Pakistan PML-N will plead that as per the Constitution of Pakistan the staff of ECP is not competent to prepare the voter lists for AJK. In the petition to be filed in Election Commission of Pakistan, PML-N will plead that that the deputed staff of ECP has contributed in preparing the fake voter lists that has made the upcoming election doubtful, sources said. Sources added that in the petition to be file din High Court of AJK PML-N would plead that the voter lists were not displayed in the entire 12 constituencies of Kashmiri refugees in Pakistan for correction and objections. It was decided that Mian Nawz Sharif will address the political rally in Kotli on June 16,2011.
