Prayers continue for Malala Yousafzai

WARBURTON - The teachers, students and other staff of Govt Model High School Warburton City organised a collective prayer for the health and prosperity of Malala Yousafzai here the other day.
According to details, more than 1,500 students and 40 teachers took part in the prayer session in the school. They prayed Allah Almighty to grant health and long life to child activist Malala Yousafzai who has become a symbol of determination and her schoolmates who also sustained gunshot wounds in the cruel attack on the way back home from school.
They expressed their hope that Malala would recover and continue her mission for bring prosperity, peace, progress and harmony in the country. They also expressed solidarity with Malala Yousafzai, her schoolmates, their parents and teachers and pledged to continue the mission of Malala.
SST Iqbal Arif Sandrana described Malala as a beam of anticipation in the darkness of terrorism, barbarism, poverty and ignorance and claimed that attempt on the life of Malala was against the Islamic wisdom. Later, the students and teachers took out a walk on Civil Hospital Road. They were carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans to pay tribute to Malala. They condemned the attack on Malala Yousafzai and demanded exemplary punishment to the assailants.
