A child was killed and three others injured when unknown miscreants hurled a hand grenade at a private school in Charghano area here in Peshawar on Monday.
According to police sources, some boys were coming out from a private school during break time when some unidentified miscreants hurled a hand grenade at main gate of the school in which an 8-year-old boy named Ali was killed and three others sustained injuries.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to Lady Reading Hospital. They said that the attackers managed to flee from the scene following the attack. However, the police have launched a probe into the attack.
