SHEIKHUPURA/HAFIZABAD-A teenage girl was raped in Sheikhupura and a Class 8th student was allegedly molested by a police constable while a woman foiled her attempted rape in Hafizabad here on Tuesday.
According to details, a 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a fiendish youth in village Tarady Wali in the remit of Sharqpur Police here on Tuesday.
The incident occurred when the victim (identity withheld) was on the way back home from school. In the meantime the accused namely Asif who was already chasing the girl abducted at gunpoint and took her in deserted place where he raped. The Sharqpur Police have not yet arrested the accused as he belongs to an influential family. According to the eye-witness, the accused is the son of influential landlord Shabbir who have close relations with a local legislator.
In Hafizabad, a Class 8th student was allegedly raped by a police constable in village Jandoki while a married woman in village Kot Sarwar foiled her attempted rape by a villager.
According to police source, 14-year-old (identity withheld) daughter of Muhammad Amin, a student of Class 8th visited the house of a relative constable Faiz Rasool in the village. The constable allegedly served her with intoxicant-laden milk and criminally assaulted her. On the application of her father, the Kaseesay Police have registered a case against the accused, who managed to escape from the scene.
Another young housewife Kiran, wife of Ejaz in Kot Sarwar foiled a her attempted rape by a young man Asad Bhatti, son of Nawaz Bhatti of the same village. On her report, the police have registered a case against the accused who managed to escape.  According to police source, Asad barged into the house of Kiran when she was alone and attempted to violate her modesty but she displayed courage and grappled with him to save her chastity.
However, while fleeing the accused set ablaze her hairs which she put off herself.
