PESHAWAR - Government High School, Mashokhail, was partially damaged when unidentified persons tried to blow it up by an explosive device on Sunday.
Sources said that the explosive material has been planted outside the school, which exploded with big bang in the wee hour of Sunday. The blast caused severe fear and panic among the resident as the areas has already witnessed several incidents of terrorism. As a result of the incident one room and boundary wall of the school was partially damaged.  Soon after the incident police rushed toward the site and cordoned off the area. They also collected evidences from the blast site. Police said that in the same night unknown person has also fired three rockets on police check post in which not human losses were reported.
They said that the rockets have been fired from the adjacent Khyber Agency and its target was police check post in Badhabera. Luckily the rockets missed its target and no casualties were reported.  Police started search operation and registered FIR against unknown persons.
