Malakand Public School shines in matric exams

MALAKAND -  The Malakand Public School has grabbed first three positions in the Malakand Board Matric Exams.
On Saturday, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Malakand announced matric annual exams 2013 results. According to the declaration, total 63,341 students were appeared in the exams out of which 47,684 candidates were declared pass with the passing percentage 75.28. Total number of subtends in ninth class exams were 33,437 out of which 22,299 were passed.  In Science Group, 22,454 candidates were appeared in exams out of which 16,400 were declared pass. In humanities Group, 10,332 students took part in the exams out of which 7,955 were passed.  Laila Haleem (Roll No 58244) of Malakand Public School Dargai secured 954 marks and got overall first position in Malakand Board. Muhammad Shayan Abdali of same school grabbed 950 marks and got second position while Babar Kamal of Malakand Public School and Rafiq Ahmad of Government High School Ramora secured 946 marks and got third position.
