ISLAMABAD- Musharraf’s lawyer filed a petition in the special court today to conduct hearing of the case in Dubai owing to the worsening law and order situation in the country, posing life threat to ex President. A petition was filed by Syed Abbas Naqvi in the special court over the shifting of Musharraf’s treason case hearing to Dubai, mentioning deteriorating law and order situation of the country.
According to details, the request was filed by advocate shah. A stance was adopted that Musharraf faced death threats in Pakistan. The petition stated that due to the worsening law and order situation of the country, it was not possible to continue Musharraf’s case in Pakistan. It further stated that it was important to transfer Musharraf’s hearing to an unbiased place, United Arab Emirate for dispensation of justice. The petition said that if the cricket matches were held at unbiased places, Musharraf’s case should also be heard in an impartial environment.
