Islamabad- Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has expressed deep grief and concern over the Larkana incident in which worship places of Hindus were damaged.

Taking notice of the incident Prime Minister said protection of the worship places of all the minorities is responsibility of the government.

He directed the provincial governments to take measures to protect the worship places and safeguard lives and property of the minorities.

He said that pre-emptive measures should be taken to avoid reoccurrence of such incidents in future. Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has also taken notice of Larkana incident and directed for protection of Hindu worship places in the province.
