He said that Karbala became the source of guidance for all movements for independence saying that Imam Hussain (AS) sacrifices preach us many lessons one of which is how to tackle with oppression, suppression and brutality and giving priority to death in honour over life in disguise. After the central congregation of 9th Muharram, the Central Procession was taken from Nishtar Park, passing the designated routes culminated at Hussaini Iranian Kharadar. Earlier, Mourners offer Zohar prayers at M.A.Jinnah Road led by Maulana Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, Addressing the worshippers during Namaz ISO leader demanded of the government to immediately expel the US ambassador from the country saying that Wikileaks exposed the US conspiracies against Pakistan. He strongly condemned the government acts against the ISO in Peshawar and Jhang saying that ISO would not allow the US agents to fulfill their conspiracies against Pakistan. After Namaz, the mourners also staged protest demonstration against the increasing interference of United States in the internal affairs of Pakistan and also condemned the government acts against Imamia Students Organization. Tight security was seen on the processions route and security personnel were deployed on the rooftops of each house that fell on the route. According to details, extensive security measures have been taken by the law enforcement agencies while the entrance of the routes was not block with concrete barricades. Security agencies have blocked both the roads with the help of containers and rest of the half roads remained blocked with the slight barriers that would be an easiest way for any heavy vehicle to get inside the procession. It is worth-mentioning here that there wasnt any check point before the entrance of Tin Hatti intersection while the traffic police were deployed at Tin Hatti while the lanes of Marton Quarters were free for the vehicles and provide easy access to the vehicles till Jahangir Road where again the slight barriers were installed. It was believed that the security forces should have to narrow the entrance points in a zigzag position, with heavy barricades which could create the hurdles for the vehicles before entrance in the procession way. Heavy deployment of police and Rangers was seen across the route of the procession while helicopter was hovering, sharpshooters positioning at the rooftop of the route buildings. Police and Rangers personnel were deployed at each link road, street and gape while gapes have been filed up with containers and buses. and other sort of barricades to stop vehicles and not even allow the pedestrians without body search.
