MARDAN - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti on Sunday said that police and security forces were rendering sacrifices while protecting the lives of masses.
“Some militants on Saturday night in Peshawar attacked Bacha Khan Airport and wanted to damage the assets and occupy the airport, but due to the sacrifices of police and security forces they did not succeed in their aim.
I salute the police forces and security forces for their sacrifices,” he added. He expressed these views while addressing a public meeting at Mardan Cant. Ameer Hiader Khan Hoti added that some forces jawans and civilians were martyred in this incident and several got injured. The Chief Minister in the beginning of his speech offered Fatiha for the souls of the martyred forces jawan and civilians and for the health of the injured people. Chief Minister further said that Allah give us power and strength that we could succeed in this mission and make our soil peaceful for our nation. Chief Minister said that without criticising anyone Mardan was ignored in the last 60 years and Allah should give me strength to serve Mardan in better manner. “I appealed to all the leaders of political parties of Mardan district to come forward for the progress and development of Mardan because progress of Mardan is not only the progress of Ameer Haider Khan and neither of Awami National Party (ANP) but it is of all those people who live in Mardan district”, he added.
He said that I appeal all the party leaders to come out for the progress and development of Mardan they come forward and I will follow them so that we should develop Mardan and jointly give it its due rights. Ameer Haider Khan Hoti further said that with out any delay the service of mosques will be continued in the district and it will be continued till that time even needs of all the mosques aren’t fulfilled without any political affiliation. “In last 60 years no one serve the mosques, may be Allah did not wanted to get this service from others and Allah want to get this service of mosques from red flag and Bacha Khan followers”, he added.
Chief Minister said that he has no interest because he became member provincial assembly (MPA) with the support of Allah, masses of Mardan and with the support of red flag and become the Chief Minister of the province and now his wish is to serve the masses of Mardan in better way so that I feel proud in front of you people and you will feel proud before the whole Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Chief Minister said that majority of the Christian community is also living in Cant area and few months ago unfortunately some people burnt their Church during a procession which was a bad incident occurred in Mardan because our religion did not teach us this.
He said that he approved Rs 3 crore for the mentioned church and new church will be constructed and construction work will start from 25 December because on this date Christian community will celebrate Christmas.
He added that soon after the incident he provide 20 lakh rupees for the immediate repair of the church. He added that he would continue his struggle to also solve the problems of Christian community of Mardan. Chief Minister said that billions rupees were spent in Cant area on different developmental works. At this occasion Chief Minister announced 12 lakh rupees for the repair of Masjid Quba and also announced billion rupees funds for other developmental works in Cant area.
