RAWALPINDI - Pakistan Customs has seized foreign currencies worth Rs 9.64 million from a passenger here at Benazir Bhutto International Airport, informed an official on Tuesday. According to details, customs officials received a tip-off that a passenger namely Ameer Zeb son of Adil Sher, resident of Totali, Buner, having Pakistani passport No BE5096711 would try to smuggle foreign currency to Dubai from the airport via flight number NL 221 on July 15, 2013.
He added that Customs officials recovered 273,000 Saudi Riyals and 80,000 UAE Dirham from the luggage and arrested the passenger.
