ISLAMABAD- President Mamnoon Hussain has reaffirmed commitment of the government to accord top priority to the promotion of higher education in all disciplines including medical sciences.
The President, who is also Chancellor Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Medical University Islamabad, said this while chairing the 1st meeting of the senate of the university in Islamabad today.

Underscoring the key role of the universities, the President urged the university’s management to particularly focus on the evaluation of the performance of various departments of the university as per international standards. He said it would help the medical professionals and students to compete at the global level in the field of medical and allied health sciences.
