Peshawar- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minster for Health Shaukat Ali Yousafzai has said that it has been ordered to include Doctors Service Structure in the upcoming Annual Budget; similarly, a Committee has also been constituted under the chairmanship of Special Secretary Health for the service Structure of both paramedics and Nursing Staff.

The committee comprised of three members each from both employees bodies while representatives of Finance, Establishment and Administration Departments will also be included in the committee. Both paramedics and Nursing Staff have been advised to send their Nominees for the Committee membership within two days. Shaukat Yousafzai said that it was the main agenda of the Present Provincial Government of PTI to provide Free basic Health Facilities to Public and for that purpose they were working hard day and night.

Minster Health further said that no representative of Pharmaceutical Companies will be allowed to meet the Doctors in their duty timings in Government Hospitals because it creates hurdles for patients to see the doctors for their treatment. He expressed the hope that the first Burn center will be operational till May, 2014, while, the hepatitis center will start its functions till April, 2014, in Peshawar. He further said that first insulin bank will be inaugurated on March 19(Wednesday), which will provide free treatment to diabetic Patients in the whole Province.
