Our Staff reporter SIALKOT - Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has strongly condemned the incident of Indian shelling on a boarder village of Sialkot and termed it a necked aggression. In fact this act id manifestation of sabotaging Pak-India dialogue process and Pakistan will continue its efforts for maintaining permanent peace in the region, she said. Addressing a news conference here on Monday, the Information Minister further stated that armed forces of Pakistan are full capable to avert any aggression and to protect the geographical fronts of the country. Pakistan will not tolerate and any challenge to its sovereignty and every mode will be utilized to protect every inch of the country, she said. About Abbottabad incident she said that armed forces were doing their excellent work for the country and serving the nation with full potential and in this regard for the first time in the history of Pakistan heads of different institutions attended the camera proceedings and express their viewpoints with liberty and take the nation and parliament into confidence adding that it indicates the supremacy of parliament. All political parties and nation are united on national interest and backing Pak forces for the defence of the country she said. The Information Minister told that parliament unanimously had condemned the Abbottabad incident and pledged to stop such incidents in future. PPP leadership was making strenuous efforts for strengthening democratic institutions and promotion democracy at gross roots levels in the country she said.
